Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare Inc. Exhibit
In celebration of Latino Heritage Month, the Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame and Museum is hosting an exhibit about Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare Inc. The exhibit is on exhibit through November 2, 2025.
Regular exhibition hours are Tuesday - Friday from 2 - 5 pm, Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday from 2 - 5 pm. The show is open to the public at no cost.
The only aftercare association in the Caribbean that is accredited by the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance is Caribbean Thoroughbred

Some are sanctuary horses. Many are rehabilitated and retrained for second careers in barrel racing, jumping, dressage, and pleasure riding. Stobie and her staff are the only retirement foundation for the racehorses, who are otherwise faced with euthanasia, abandonment, or being given away to people who do not always understand how to care for a thoroughbred.
