Docent Program

Hall of Fame docents are volunteers who greet visitors, guide visitors through the Hall of Fame and provide information about the exhibits and the museum.

Docents also prepare the Hall of Fame to open and close and might be asked to volunteer at various the special events, such as art show receptions, Breakfast at the Gallops and various educational or historic programs.

Those who volunteer for the program should have a passion for  history and/or thoroughbred racing or be willing to learn.

All trainings will be held at the Hall of Fame from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm.

Those wishing to schedule a training or need more information please call 803-643-2121 or email [email protected].
