Race Comments: PALACE MALICE four wide around both turns, sat patiently during the initial stages, picked up the pace once FRAC DADDY began to drop back coming to the half mile pole, ranged up towards OXBOW and raced heads apart with that opponent for nearly the entire far turn, struck the front and began to edge away a few jumps before arriving at
the top of the stretch, was put to a drive and gradually kicked away while kept to the task at hand. OXBOW away in good order, assumed a forward position, pressed the issue from
the three path, moved when ready to take over coming to the end of the backstretch, showed the way holding the slimmest of leads being hounded by the eventual winner, remaining well off the inside, yielding a short distance from the quarter pole, held on well to the end to secure second. ORB well reserved from off the inside for the opening mile was given his
cue and unleashed a strong four wide run to reach contention, failed to sustain it while getting up for the show. INCOGNITO unhurried from off the inside and from between rivals for a good portion of the opening stages, was guided over to the inside making his way around the far turn, cut the corner into the lane, altered course gradually making his way through the furlong grounds, lacked a solid late closing punch. REVOLUNTIONARY saved ground on the first turn, was taken outward down the backstretch, steadily advanced into good striking distance, was under a drive turning for home, remained a prominent factor for an additional furlong before backing away. UNLIMITED BUDGET underwent a three wide journey, was taken hold and pulled slightly outward as INCOGNITO was maneuvering towards the middle of the track, lacked the needed response. OVERANALYZE was placed near the inside route midway down the backstretch, lost some position idling behind a now-weakening FRAC DADDY coming to the half mile pole, managed to slip by and re-tucked along the rail,
rode it until upper stretch, came up empty when called upon. VYJACK brushed at the start, was hung out four to five wide on the opening bend, taken in hand after displaying some
initial keenness, remained well off the inside, fanned six wide into the lane, had no rally. GOLDEN SOUL settled to be two to three wide coming to the first turn, brought up the back
of the pack one-paced, tipped outward and loosely drafted behind ORB during the run around the second bend, made no headway once into the stretch. WILL TAKE CHARGE pulled away after making light contact with VYJACK at the start, was strung out three wide on the opening bend, continued to race off the rail thereafter and failed to reach a contending
position. GIANT FINISH worked out a tuck along the rail shortly before reaching the end of the homestretch, tired off the subsequent ground-saving journey. MIDNIGHT TABOO off
the inside, was no factor. FREEDOM CHILD contested the pace from the two path for the opening mile, steadily retreated upon departing the backstretch, turned for home under a
protective hold. FRAC DADDY hustled away from the starting gate, vied for command for nearly a half, faded while not being asked for run down the stretch.
